Start by measuring the finished opening where the screen will sit, not just the total room width. If you are building an enclosure, measure the inside frame dimensions. After the top is partially secured, move to the lower section and then the sides. This keeps the material more balanced during installation and helps prevent one side from pulling out of square.
Use ball bungees or flexible ties rather than rigid fastening methods. The screen needs some give. That flexibility is part of what helps absorb impact energy and reduce hard rebound. Pull each point snug, but do not overstretch the material.
